I was wondering if i buy a carpeting set for my 1972 convertible beetle, will it fit correctly to the frame. at them moment it seems that the carpet keeps falling away from the sides - over the accelerator. - it may be that it isn't a correct carpet. it doesnt seem to fit to the side and sits about 1 inch from the side panel and keeps flopping over.

my question is do the actually proper carpet sets fit correctly. without double sided tape or glue?
