Perth & Country

My Name's Danny and I own and operate a towing company in Perth.. I use a flatbed truck which ensures damage free towing of your car.. Due to my late model reliable truck, I am able to travel anywhere metro or country for towing of breakdowns, projects or accidents and will also (in most instances) bulk bill your insurance company for crash towing, meaning you won't have to pay for the tow..

I am a VW owner of many years and many models, (I currently own 4 beetles and a 72 kombi) so I have a lot of experience in towing of VW's... I am the primary provider of towing services to The Vee Dub Centre in Osbourne Park and am also known to Peter Arnoldi, Lang Motors, Kurt of Fremantle VW's and Balcatta VW Specialists....
My pricing is always in line with current industry standards but members from this forum are offered a discount, should they require my services..
I can also assist with fuel deliveries, tyre changes, unlocking cars that have had the keys locked inside, minor mechanical roadside repairs and often take on jobs such as urgent parts or equipment deliveries and have even used the truck to assist with people moving house, so don't limit your thoughts to just shifting cars, if it needs a truck, my phone is on 24/7 and I have a current Police Clearance Certificate, clean driving record and a Fully Insured truck, so what ever I carry for you, I carry the risk too...

Please don't hesitate to call if you need me..
Thanks.
Danny, WABaja..

Only to happy to help out guys...

Next time you hear the words, "Do you have a mate with a tow truck"..??
The answer is "YES"...!!!:thumb

Thanks for that mate,

Always good to know you have a decent tow truck there to help you out......especially since I 'attempt' to work on my own VW's. Your number should be added to my speed dial.

MISS VDUB - December 20th, 2005 at 01:01 AM

Hi Guys,

I Needed to move Mildreds pan today, and i decided to use Danny from All Car towing, one of our members from AVD.

I was extremely happy with the service, he arrived on time, gave me a great price and didn't cause any damage to Mildred. It cost me less than it would have to hire a trailer and do it Myself!

I'd highly recommend Danny to anyone, and will definitely be using Danny from now on!!!

Ash x

Recently I use Danny to carry a rolling, convertible beetle wreck to my house. He was on time and the loading was quick and efficient. He asked for my address, uploaded it into his navigation system, took off and by the time I got home he was already there and was ready off load the car. He went the fast, efficient way. I went the easy to navigate way that stopped me at nearly every set of traffic lights.

His fee was very reasonable. He gives discounts to ADVs and members of the VW Club.

He is very knowledgeable, personable, friendly and courteous. I would readily recommend Danny to anyone who needs his services.

Hi Guys,

I have recently purchased a 73 Type3 Squareback and im slowly making my way
through fixing and upgrading things here and there.

From what I have read on the forums and some other literature I have a rough ideal how to perform some of the basic servicing I require but am a little scared of diving in head first and breaking things. I am basically concerned as the task's I was fairly familiar with in older holdens seem just that little bit different in the dub.

Things I ideally wanted to do:
- Front disc pad replacement
- Rear drum shoe lining replacement
- Oil change, points, plugs, valve clearance check and fluid checks.

Im happy to go to a good mechanic if anyone can recommend someone but I really won't learn anything that way. Ideally I would love to learn the basics so I can do it myself.

There would of course be beer shared by me for anyone who would be prepared to teach me :)

Any suggestions on mechanics good books or people who may be able to help would be ace.

.Sean

Hey Sean,

I can’t help you with the technical side of things but I can recommend a good book . . . How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive. I think they are up to the 19th addition now and it has everything from basic maintenance to performance mods.

I don’t know if you are in the area but I like to use John from Balcatta Volkswagen & Subaru

Hope this helps

p.s. I’d recommend jumping in the deep end as it’s the best/quickest/cheapest way to learn
