Hey guys and girls, signed up quite a while ago, but haven't really posted, just lurked.

Yesterday I purchased a '65 Notchback, and am very excited to start work on getting it back on the road. I pick it up on Saturday, and will take it straight to my Mum's place (she has several acres, and more importantly several empty sheds) where I plan to start work immediately.

The Notchy is in pretty good nick for it's age, although the floor pans are in need of replacement. I understand there are no reproduction floor pans available so need to figure out how to replace these.

I'll post some photos once I have it in my possession.

Welcome Darren. Nice to hear of another South Aussie Notch. Put up some photos for us. We're in Peterborough so if you go for a cruise to the north give us a yell.
Keep everyone posted on what your doing with the notch.
Always keen to see others progress.

Thanks for the info re the floor pans. Once I have the car, I'll be able to determine how far gone the pans are.

It'll be a while before the notch will be up for any cruising wombat!

No drama mate, I've got 2 dubs in the same boat.

Cool. We're counting on the Notch to get us there. Hopefully better than the last trip which ended up getting home a day late on an RAA tilt tray.

Had a walk along the row of Golfs but got waylaid at the Baja and the buggies. And the Missus Shouting I want the Barbie Car! (Pink Purvis Eureka)
Was a really good day altogether.
