New member with 1969 beetle

New to air-cooled , been on the vw waterside for many years.
mainly a diesel guy so got a lot to learn here.

Picked up a 1969 beetle 79000 miles , original motor ,
not one bit of rust , been garaged all its life.
Just a few things to do to it to tidy it up.
No big plans just to try and preserve it as best I can.
Reason for 1969 , my birth year.

Picked it up from Sydney , had been there 5 years , guy bought
it from Qld , from original owner (old lady) from Bunderburg
Have all paperwork and original service book.
