I'm on the road into Melbourne daily and I'd need a passenger to be taking notes if I wanted to post here on Spotted

I see beetles and kombi's daily in and out of the city. Not just one or two, several of each. Some I see daily.

I try to catch up, and usually do, along the Eastern Freeway to look for stickers. Most are not showing any VW connection to club or service centre.

Had one older guy in a shit brown (u know???) coloured fast back, going other way, look over the freeway at Dr L and I so he know at least we were another VW. I get that and you know they are aware of driving something special like their VW

Had a big smile and a wave from a cool guy in an early bay kombi heading into the city on Thursday. Blue, nice rat look satarting to happen:thumb

Took me a while to catch up and I was hoping he wouldn't trun off before I caught him LOL

Had Save the World type stickers on the back window (Save the Panda, Save the Whales etc) Sweet:thumb:thumb

I give up in counting new Golf's, they are everywhere

Oh, and p.s. I make sure I pull in front to show my stickers just in case they are interested in joining us

Well I don't have a forum sticker yet., too slack, but have club, cruising stickers, and the VW Dr's stickers:thumb

Totally spun out today, I saw about 8 Beetles, and I only drove about 40 km.

I really really wish 1 in every 10 cars was a Beetle. It would make life in a panel shop so easy. We could just about keep parts in stock.

Holden are gonna bring out about a dozen new models in the next year. Just to confuse me. That doesnt include the other 100 new models being released. It's just too much. :jesus

I spose it all comes down to the old saying, If at first you dont succeed, try try again! as far as the Beetle is concerned the saying, when you are on a good thing stick to it! applies.:thumb
