Blue, pre '67 beetle - St Kilda

I was in Melbourne a few weeks ago and at The Prince in St Kilda seeing a gig. I was on the balcony and saw a pre 1967 blue beetle with chrome wheels (I think) and nice chrome detailing. I think there was some pin striping on it too. I think it was a tad lowered too.

I know that's not much info but an awesome veedub like that would have been well known. I was amazed when I saw it. I wish I saw the owner of it so I could tell him how fantastic it was and buy him a beer.

Anyone else seen this?

If I saw a picture of it I'd definitely recognise it. I loved it.
