beetle drip rail shave or repair
nedsta - April 1st, 2013 at 01:23 PM

The drip rails on the beetle are rusted rotton throughout they seem beyond repair I'm thinking of just shaving them completely but if anyone has a better way of going about it I'd love to know.
I'd like to keep them on to mount a sun visor and roof rack but at this point it doesn't look like its going to happen.
How do the experts do it?

To get rid of drip rails with good metal is a long and challenging process, let alone rusted.
If it is that badly rusted along the drip rail, I'd suggest looking for another body....
