Wrapped?
ancientbugger - September 15th, 2014 at 11:43 AM

Has anyone here 'wrapped' a beetle? Just asking as to see how difficult it would be with the curves.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=M4RxyiPfsXk

I am sure that one of the US drag dubs is covered in a wrap. I think it has a gorrila on it?

Michael Nash's Drag Bug has been wrapped, and I heard they reckoned they wouldn't do it again

I have seen several kombis wrapped and lots of promo cars.

My neighbours Merc delivery van is wrapped and it has lots of curves

They do a "quickie" wrap and lots of gaps around door handles and protector strips.

The hard part would be the rain channels.

I have seen cheap wraps and quality wraps. There are issues that can arise due to certain shapes and edges, and that is for the wrapper to ascertain when looking at the job. Their experience is important. Whole cars can cost between $2000 and $4000.

just use Plasti dip applied with Aldi's 240V spray gun

I've been on youtube and it seems an alternative with some good looking results but not seen one in the flesh - so to speak.
