Touch up paint & application
jamesbond - April 18th, 2017 at 09:49 PM

Hello, whats the best way to get and apply touch up paint for a beetle still with original paint. Can you get touch up pens in old original colours for small little spots or blemishes or scratches or do you have to go to a panel beater paint supply place to mix up a pot for you? If so what's the best way to apply it. These are only small spots that need a touch up. I don't want to pull guards or do a full blown spray job. What's the best way to tackle these small spots.

You can also try SuperCheapAuto. They now mix paints and can provide in aerosol or small tins.

All you need is your VW Paint code.

Just got a touch up aerosol in Wattle yellow.:D

Ok excellent thanks scm048 and vw54. Now I'll trawl the paint and body posts to pick up hints on how to best cover up small chips and small surface rust spots. Dab and polish I assume? I have a few surface flakes and want to cover these up and get it looking pretty.
