Recently bought a 64 standard with a little bit of rust in her.Would love suggestions by the forum members of places that specialise in rust removal
and body work that do a really good job.I live in the brisbane so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try Das Resto Haus on the Gold Coast http://dasrestohaus.com.au/  as it looks like you are based there as well.

what ever you chose

Make sure its close to you so you can check progress and correctness of repair.

Nothing worse than having to drive some Klms to get to a place that's FIXing your pride and joy

Much easier

when coming to a shop ask to see previous work so you can gauge how they do things.. make sure u or the shop take photos off all stages so that you know it has been done right and if you ever sell you can show it was done right...

good quality work isn't cheap no matter what anyone says so if its a low price don't expect a proper job....

we do a lot of resto work (all cars) and we never give a fixed quote as you have no idea of whats under the paint..

we give a rough guide and have the owners come in on a regular basis (2 monthly normaly ) to show them whats been done, where we are unto and cost involved... most pay on rolling payments so that the end bill isn't to scary.....

steff
