Hey all!
So, I've been doing quite a bit of research into ways to get adjustable camber and caster on the fly up the front on Zelda, being a strut bug and all
this is actually easier than I expected.
I stumbled across some things called adjustable strut plates and was wondering if anyone had done the same on their strut bugs?
Something similar to this is what I'm thinking of running.

I'm going to assume people like Joel, Steve1303 and maybe a few others can chime in here, but would really like to know if anyone else has used
something like this up the front.
Cheers!
I run Castor fix bushings and a Camber plus kit on mine but Steve has a set of the Kmac upper bearings, very nicely made units.
Think Dave also has them on his Sti bug.
I'm thinking I just go the whole hog and do it right the first time by getting the Kmac adjustable strut plates, I think it'll save a lot of time
when it comes to adjustments and what not.
Just want to make sure they fit before I purchase, do you know what model Steve got?
No idea but I'm sure he'll chime in soon.
We have the original style, unless he changed, they were modified Astra units, the v2.0 ones are apparently nicer, good glfor street but don't offer
much adjustment being in a urethane cup, I'll be chasing some hard mount versions, had that style top in my old pulsar & had no issues as a
daily...
Combo of caster fix bushes, custom control arm bushes, see mr db if necessary, and tho'e current tops, I have plenty, but Im greedy & always want
more lol.
On a side note, buy my setup so I can get robs :P
Hi
I have a set on my car, I needed to reduce my wheels base to satisfy the RMS that my wheelbase was standard, pulling maximum caster with the these
units achieved this.
They are well made but mine are bearing straight into the alloy type, they ride surprisingly well but if I hit say a cats eye on the road I get boing
sound from the springs.
The only issue I have with them is that if you pull your strut out or need to remove your strut brace you loose the settings.
Steve
edit BTW I had the serrated washer in the wrong place in the photo
+ 1 on the k mac.
I have some of Kev's products. They are great.
Looking to buy some more k mac stuff.
