ok so how do i remove the seat slide adjuster on a type 3 seat.
have got new covers to go on and the bases need a panelbeat and paint.
go everything else off except the slider knob ???

its the square knob in the pic ?????

It just pulls off the metal lever has a slight curve from memory

have taken some off before (about 40 years ago..........you would think i'd remember) nothing a block of wood and a tap with the hammer couldnt fix............... just didnt want to bust them
