Khumo tyres on a Baja.
The_Bronze. - August 17th, 2011 at 11:59 PM

Just seeking opinions. Please reply.

Just bought a Baja and it's in desperate need of new rubber.

It sports 14"s in each corner so I'm a little limited in choice.

Was thinking:

KH18 or KH19's on the front.

MT KL71 on the back. (OD 27 inches).

Why:
Weekdays = Freeway travel an hour daily and return in the arvo.
Weekends = Offroading and sand driving.

I need to stop and stop fast so the KH series are a sticky road tyre.
Weekends are in the mud and sand so a grippy KL series.

Open to opinions and thoughts please people.

Have heard good reports about the kumho kl71s you mention, one of the cheapest priced but good quality and decent tread you can get, the bf goodrich have a nice sharp edge so would be good on the front.

Just doing abit of research on a set of AT tyres and noticed that the new general grabbers will be offered in a 27 x 8.5 r14
