I am pretty sure those CB dry sump pumps only have 21mm pressure gears.
It would be nice to see a little more pressure,
but realistically is is probably more than enough.(or else the rods would be all over the road by now).

It may just need relief valve adjustment, or it may be all the pump can deliver..

I might look into getting some more pressure to be safe

Craig Torrens - February 27th, 2013 at 07:23 PM

did it have more pressure before the change ?

colin - February 27th, 2013 at 07:46 PM

I would like to see a little more pressure.
Approx 60psi at 7000 plus rpm

Cheers Col

cnfabo - February 28th, 2013 at 01:35 AM

Yes it had more pressure. Better get it sorted before my next race in 2 weeks

Craig Torrens - March 22nd, 2013 at 12:00 PM

Any updates on your oil pressure problem ?

cnfabo - March 22nd, 2013 at 09:22 PM

Installed adjustable pressure dooby wacky thingy bobby.have not checked warm pressure yet, fired her up the other day and had 80psi and had heaps more adjustment left in it.

Cheers Col

Just one of the adjustable pressure relief valves for the case. Not going to fuck around with a external ones considering of done all that plumbing , not changing it now!!
