Valla/Ralleigh,,, what`s it going to take?
TheMiniMan - January 31st, 2016 at 03:53 PM

for me to get an entry for my Buggy into the Valla/Ralleigh race at the next Valla meet

do i need a manx buggy type body on it?

do i need to put a Beetle or baja/chopper type bonnet & boot lid etc 0nto it?

can i just slip a Vee-dub badge onto it?

with things like formulas vees & Manx buggys with sybaru engines & gearboxes etc racing, not much vee-dub stuff on some of em,,, so what`s the go?

i just want to have a fang around the track like everyone else?
can i just have a couple of laps demonstration maybe?
i don`t really want a shit fight, i really don`t want anyones noses out of joint,,, i know it`s not vee-dub but i can make it look "sort-of" like a baja bug if i have too
??????????????????????????????????????

5th outright at the last Noosa Hillclimb so it`s not a piece of crap
CAMS log booked etc

Luke?????

matt, will you have the spiltty carrier ready by then? that might be enough to get you in.....

TheMiniMan - February 20th, 2016 at 10:41 AM

ha, nah the spiltty will be a few years off completion & i expect once it is done then they`ll let me run that for sure

but Luke has suggested (as he did last time i asked) that because it`s sooo not a Vee-dub that it would be unfair to everyone else who would like to run "non-vee-dub" cars in the event which is usually over subscribed anyways,,,

so i get that , i just wanted everyone there to see a proper fast car on that track :-)
hee hee,,, you know what i mean i`m sure Lou :-) cheers mate :-)
