Took ole No.8 Beetle to Coota yesterday, and had a ball.

Even though it's set up for circuit work, I managed to just sneak in under 14 seconds for the 1/4 mile.

I hear that when it is, it is pretty enough to write a song about.

Bit late for the Wattle, Gary. Plenty of canola, though...I know how you like that colour.

Could've done with that tow, behind your 'ute'.

So Greg are you coming to Warwick now for the VW drags?

nbturbo - September 9th, 2014 at 10:14 AM

Reckon old no. 8 must be running Canola oil in the crankcase to post that sort of speed.Looks like you dont need a tow from me anymore.Well done for a Bloke who likes only going round corners with the inside rear wheel doing about 20 degrees positive camber.

Old airstrip drags are cool!
The last one I went to years ago I saw a Commodore radiator air intake swallow a cocky 1/2way to the line!
