Hey Mate,

Too any factors not listed that are crucial.
Cam?
Heads/valve size/port work?
Carbs/injection?
Compression Ratio?
Exhaust?
Suspension?
Tyre size?

Could be anything from 12-16 seconds depending on set up.

Tell me what your planning and I will try and find a similar car and post their times.

Matt

Common Davo, get with the program! You've been around long enough to know the lingo!

Dannyboy,
Checkout the Shoptalk forums if your serious about good engine combos for drag racing.
The yanks are little old tech, but they seem to get them going pretty well.

If you are serious, here in Oz, checkout some of the trully fast street VW's from our wonderful past, Cars like Kieths Hauslers old Turbo Oval (he's got a 'new' car now I believe!), Lee Harris' Turbo Bug, Borris' Turbo Bug and a few fast street cars from Qld. And don't forget that mob from Melbourne! SA as some very quick road cars, Aaron Britchers Squareback Panel (if he ever runs it!), Dave Prior's 5 speed Oval, Doc's red 69.

There are loads more,

Later
