Dak-A-Tak - June 6th, 2004 at 02:13 AM

We ran Rod Richardsons oldschool bug at willowbank on saturday night ,peeled off(12.46-103,12.62-104,12.29-106.5),60ft time 1.66 for the startline.Last run was super swaet and strong ( start-5500rpm,gears-7000), big burn out-lots of smoke( v8 boys cheering). Wish we ran this fast at the VW Nationals at Easter . We made no changes to car since then (peter page driving). By Jamboree in September, hopefully we car make this car run 11s and take out allmotor record.:party

Well Rod

Its obivious you have a heavier foot than Pete...
So Pete was driving at Sydney ???

Dak-A-Tak - June 10th, 2004 at 11:20 PM

Hi! Dave,as you know rod entered at Sydney and drove his car to runner up ! in quick bracket. I think the air and traction , lackoff !!! court us out.We should have leaned in out and done bigger burn outs ( harder then its looks). I raced rods at willowbank to make shore things were okay. We are still learning about what this car and combo likes.Maybe next year nationals, we could run a quick street bracket ( 14flat and quicker) winner take all price money!
