Here are a couple of pics from last nights racing. Had to leave before the end of the event and left my notes at home but I'm sure morgan or waked1
or ovalglen will be able to remember the times...
the boys bringing the bug into the staging lanes
launch without the gas...
launch with the laughing gas...
Excellent ! Fellows, phone was running HOT last night !!!! Good to see the car went home not broken. 60gas shot.Well i don't think you guys will mind me posting the time. 11.66 AT 112.96 MPH ,Two runs at 11.67- 112.8 MPH. Dak-a-TAK team and fellow QLD drag racers take our hats off to you guys. :thumb:thumb
What was the time decrease and hp gain with the happy gas.

Morgan's best befor was 12.43 at 104(no gas). With gas(60hp) car drop point eight of a second ( .80)and gained 9 mph over all. This is very good performance gain .
And bloody consistent driving too !!!!!
Awesome effort fellas.
How much lightened is the car ? Much in the way of suspension mods ?
hehe look at that chassis twist from the torque
Thanks for the photos Matt, and big thanks to my brothers Macca and Lachlan plus good mate Ben. Firrst time on the gas and the car went great 1st run 11.77-107.45 using an MSD window switch we only put gas in between 4900-6000rpm, shit myself and got off the throttle very early.2nd Nos from 4900 to 7000 11.66-112.98 bad bunout a bit unsure greasy track lots of nerves. Three more runs with same set up no better times but the last run did a good burnout got traction for the first time of the night bogged it hard but ran 113.79mph with rain hitting the windscreen, not cool. Thanks all for the support, the bug is now in the hands of Mac and Lachlan cause I'm heading OS for 12 months and prob wont get a chance to race before I go, plus$$$, so keep racing.
Hey Morgan,
Magic times boys. The car has come a long way since the Nats the bad camber and the 165's.
Hopefully we will get to race you again when you get back.

Any panel beaters/painters out there interest in putting some paint on my boot and bonnet, so it can start looking good in photos. I have 3 bonnets to
choose from and the boot is fibreglass. I've had a bit of trouble trying to get a painter that interested in doing a good job rather than just
getting paid, if any ones interested or can recomend a good enthusiastic painter please post, u2u or email fattymorgs@hotmail.com
thanks and have a good chrissy.
