Menangler - December 18th, 2004 at 08:27 PM

Fitted up some M & H dot drag tyres today, they are 215 65 x 15, and fit on a 5 inch Flat 4 BRM very nicely, very soft and still drive OK on the road.
these are the ones Vintage Vee dub are selling.

Menangler - December 18th, 2004 at 08:34 PM

I think they are around $600 a pair

When are they getting an on track evaluation? Curious to see how they compare to a full slick.

The complete supply in the US has been sold, If you want some there available here in Sydney

Hey Beck What tyre pressure do they recomend for street running ???

Are you going to use on yr daily driver ??

Menangler - December 19th, 2004 at 05:45 PM

Dave,
I have 25 psi in them now, it isn't a daily driver so it will only be driven every now and then.

LOWBUG - December 19th, 2004 at 05:45 PM

I assume that they are street legal, how much are vintage selling them for.

shiftyvw - December 19th, 2004 at 08:04 PM

Maybe not street legal, they are DOT approved but thats an american thing. Do they have a speed and load rating etc on them?

Dannyboy - December 21st, 2004 at 12:58 PM

Isn't it more of a yankee thing so hot cars can run hot tyres and still be classed as street legal for drag racing.

They are nice tyres but can't see you running them on the road. They'd last about 5 mins!

Dave your using yours for the drags only aren't you?

Dan;)
