anyone with a vw in a need of a little attention?
polak - December 29th, 2009 at 08:49 PM

hey all, as you may or may not know, Mike Waldron and i (Adam Pawlowski aka polak) have opened up a workshop... although we have been mainly doing vw's we are also looking to venture into other makes and models... we specialise in restoration, customising of all areas of a vehicle, and some performance work... although we have plenty to keep us going, mainly being long term resto projects and a couple quick quick fixes, when starting a new business more is always better and will definitely help us keep afloat during this tough beginning period. So i figured to post this to let anyone on AVD know that we are ready to take on your project and help out with anything needed... we have our own painters and access to all parts we need to help you make ur VW or other vehicle exactly what you have always wanted it to be. We are working with a number of VW specialist stores so we are confident we can help your needs. We dont do general mechanical repairs like servicing and tuning, as we are more about building and restoring cars, but we can help in putting you in touch with someone that does (ie CBB, VVD, etc etc.). anyway not sure if this is the section to be posting it in but i figured, if anyone needs any help it will make it easy to find. Cheers to all and a great new year.... Adam and Mike from Raw Auto Werks

p.s to make things easier u can call me on 0401 55 40 49

WELL BRIAN, as i said we dont do everyday sort of mechanical like servicing and tuning... we do on the other hand do anything we need during the resto project... so what im saying is we will do everything as part of a resto, but in saying that we wish to stay away from just day-to-day maintenance. We do all the metal fabrication here, but we take the painting to get done at a workshop that we work with as we dont have a painting booth yet and as for the parts, yes we source both from current retailers and also some we are begining to bring in on our selves... anything else?

Although you don't to day to day mechanical repairs are you able to get a vw back to road worthiness and a blue slip?

I am looking at a 68 VW which is unregistered and needs fuel drained and brakes adjusted etc?

Paulc1964au - March 22nd, 2010 at 07:59 PM

Today I took my dub to Raw Auto Werks for servicing and a few fixes so it can be registered.

Adam and Mick did a fantastic job and went over my 69 and kept working until 8.30 pm tonight. If anyone lives in Sydney i highly recommend there work and both are great guys.

As for what they charged me I am so happy with the cost and the workmanship. I will be returning the 69 in the near future for a new front beam, rust repairs to the doors as well as a few other things.

thanks guys one very satisfied customer

thanks to the forum for enabling me to find these guys
