Jetta towbar required
helbus - February 23rd, 2013 at 11:09 PM

Does anyone know of a company that can supply a Jetta towbar. I can fit it no prob. I have searched the internet and cannot find one. A neighbour wants one, and has been quoted $1700 from VW. There must be something available.

The expensive bit is the wiring loom and the computer reprogram.

Less problems getting VW to do it.

Ah yes I can get anything from Hayman Reese through work at trade price, but there is no Jetta towbar.

She did not get a towbar.

Contact Jeff at http://www.ironbull.com.au
Jeff imports tow bars from Europe for European cars.
I wanted a tow bar for my Audi A6 and found that Hayman Reese do not have a tow bat to fit Audis, and God knows what an Audi dealer would charge.

Jeff supplied and fitted my tow bar, electrical kit and re-programmed the cars computers just two days ago for $963. I am very happy with the end result.

He is based on the Gold Coast and will either courier tow bars to customers for self-installation or he flies to wherever to install them.

I don't believe that he has any VW towbars presently in stock but am sure that he could arrange to import same.
