Welcome to the Puddle
Brad - March 31st, 2005 at 12:33 PM

Due popular demand we have opened a new section to help cover the growing popularity of Factory watercooled VW.. If it grows then we will build sub sections to suit ..

Till then, enjoy your bricks and wedges :party

Brad - March 31st, 2005 at 09:33 PM

so I own a T25 with 1.9 water boxer ... now the question is when I put the EJ22 in the rear do I post in here or in the non vw engine part ...

Oh well..

Andy - April 1st, 2005 at 11:26 AM

Mr Brad, can you please confirm or deny a rumore I hear that the cooling fan in a "T2.5" is different to a fan in a "T2" (air cooled 2L motors that is)
Cheers,
Richard

Thanks Brad. I don't know who it was who spoke to me at the Nats on the AVD stand....but I know they will be very happy.

BiX - April 7th, 2005 at 01:24 PM

Awesome and i only got a mk1 golf 4 weeks ago. took it for its first run on teh track on the weekend :thumb it over steers almost as much as the beetle and so much easier to drive hard, jsut point and floor it, none of this balancing on the throttle stuff.

zjm - April 12th, 2005 at 11:27 PM

Ive got a mark2 golf gt (private import not gti) daily driver I bought it because it was cheap. Ive had it for a year it does stuff my bugs wont such as carrying 5 adults , getting 14 km/l and easily cruising at 160 kmh (it felt like 120kmh)have to watch speedo a bit

SteveMk2 - April 14th, 2005 at 10:21 PM

Some GTI's were also private imports. I think someone from the vortex photgraphed your car in Sydney a year or so ago. I was asked to justify its existance... Must be the only GT around.
