May sound silly, (that's what my wife says) but 7 years ago I bought a 1961 Ghia from a deceased estate with the intention to restore. Well 7 years later it rolled out from under the covers and got Soda Blasted. Now its back I'm starting to get together parts I need and my perfect ghia body is not so perfect. Anyway when I took of the front wheel I found it had Disc Brakes fitted but a brand I cannot recognize. It says "AKEBOND" anyone seen them before

They are john Sherman brakes using mazda callipers, widened the track so much on my beetle that I had to make a special set of wheels to get them back inside the guards, doubt the adaptor is legal for the wide five. I took mine off the car in the end as I could not get them to work any better that the drums I took off the car in the first place.
