WTB RHD Pedal set for a 1963 Ghia
penguin - February 14th, 2019 at 05:40 AM

As per the title I am looking for a complete set RHD pedals to suit a 1963 Ghia. If they are the same as a Beetle, then great, but still looking for a full set. Was hunting a roller set, but have found a few articles that all agree, roller pedals were replaced in August 57 with the treadle/normal ones.
Cheers

Roller accelerator pedals did not come on Karmann only I. Oval Beetles. You can fit them with modification as the mount differently on the floor. You can make a roller and attach to the arm of your standard accelerator arm I did this on a Karmann previously. Some people used roller blade wheels if you want yo try that for size!

The 63 Ghia we have is lhd and has roller pedals. I can get new(repro and billet) and restored in lhd, but we are converting it, thst is why I am after an rhd set.
This is off the Samba, but not much different from ours.
