Anyone out there had anything to do with early 90's Telstra Transporters?

Have got a 1000kg hitch on the back of my van atm, but want to get a boat and the one I'd really like to get comes in just over the 1000kg tow weight.

Tried all the Aussie manufactures I can think of and 1000kg seems to be the limit.

From what I can remember, and I'm probably clutching at straw here, but the ones fitting to the early 90's Telstra Transporters seemed to be a heavy duty hitch.

Anyone know if they were?
Anyone got one?
And if you have do you want to part with it?
