whats the odds on an interest rate rise at the next reserve bank meeting????

CB Hotdog - October 10th, 2004 at 12:07 AM

One of the commentators said on telly tonight to a liberal politician "so interest rates will remain low?" and the liberal said "no, what we said was that it would always be lower than what it would be if labour got in".

And so it begins.......

Agreed, a national day of mourning is in order

Che Castro - October 10th, 2004 at 09:58 PM

mmm this is in the wrong section...

lemme guess the interest rates will rise at the next RBA meeting... Hmm I wonder if that Liberal First home buyer's grant a few years back had anything to do with the housing boom and crash that caused this rise? :) Its obviously good economic management
