pyr0 - October 11th, 2004 at 01:44 PM

kellyville is in sydney isnt it ?

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 05:38 PM

There is a Kellyville in Sydney. Just down the road from me as it happens.

Any idea what the carpet kit will fit? I have a 74 standard (not super) beetle, do you think it would fit in this?

Got any pictures?

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 05:41 PM

Also what type of carpet is it?

Freddie Fender - October 11th, 2004 at 05:42 PM

Kellyville, Sydney in the Hills District.

The Carpet kit should fit most Beetles. The doors are rust free and in primer, I bought them in case I needed them to restore my 62 Beetle but I no longer require them and could do a little cash in the pocket to fund other items.

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 05:45 PM

Does the carpet fit your 62? What little searching I've done suggests that there are differences between early and late models. If so I think I'll have to pass.

Ill take the doors....ill see ya soon and grab em.

Freddie Fender - October 11th, 2004 at 07:29 PM

Doors Taken.

The Kit is made up of various parts which can be sewn together. Teh reason I didn't use it was that it didn't fit my '62.

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 07:31 PM

Hmm, I'll get back to you sometime tomorrow evening about the carpet kit. What sort of carpet is it?

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 07:39 PM

Err what does the carpet kit cover? Is it the front and the bit behind the front seats?

Freddie Fender - October 11th, 2004 at 07:44 PM

And under dash plus wheel wells. There are extra bits in it too.

There should be enough for you to do your complete carpeting job.

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 07:49 PM

Would it be possible for me to come over and test if it will fit into my car?

Freddie Fender - October 11th, 2004 at 07:56 PM

Yes. Drop me line on 0425 243 203

andrewh - October 11th, 2004 at 07:57 PM
