"Written in 2006".

What in the hell is meant by that statement???

Poor way to start ad copy, IMO.

The KO#s that the guy provided me withon the cars doesnt match the CB registry descriptions.

He said that the KO#s are the following:

Red KO063
White "Patina" (his words) KO193
Black KO546

If I saw correctly, the registry from 2011 showed all these cars to be beige in color.

I got the same KO number info from the seller.
They all appear on The Register.
KO 063 (red), no pics, listed in The Register as beige in Brisbane, QLD.
KO 193 (white), pics, listed in The Register as beige, in Perth, WA.

KO 546 (black), pics, listed in The Register as beige, in Grenfell, NSW.

It would appear there has been a shuffling of vehicle locations since recorded in The Register. All these CBs, according to the Samba ad, are "West of Sydney". When you think about it a bit, almost everything in Oz is somewhere "west of Sydney". It's a long way from Perth to Sydney, so that's a little puzzling how KO 193 got to the east coast from its recorded Register location. Also, it's a little odd, but there's no asking price on any of the CBs. There's really not much in the way of substantial information about any of the cars in the ad. The seller is incorrect about his US count. There are 11 CBs in the US, and supposedly one in Canada.

Another interesting curiosity is that the seller's location is listed in his Samba profile as being in California, USA. So, how is it the vehicles are in Oz, and the owner is in California?

In one of his other Samba ads, the seller states he was raised in California as a child, so everything seems a little mysterious to me.

Actually the guy selling the three CBs lists himself from West of Sydney.

The guy from California looks like he is just looking for CB parts. Wonder if he has a CB or is scratch building one.

Correction on myself!

I just looked at his location on the ad not his profile. That is wierd that he is listed from California on his profile.

Yeah, I'd like to know what the "real" story is behind all that. It all seems a little weird to me. Having those three relocated from their Register locations is odd too. Especially the CB listed in Perth. Western Australia is a pretty remote place, even in today's interconnected world (Perth to Sydney is 3298 kilometers or 2049 miles). If it really was in Perth originally, what were the circumstances that brought it to "west of Sydney"?
More mysteries than answers to this three vehicle listing.

So these were the three found recently including Karstan's.
