As the tittle says, what average do you fellas get with CB's? With the aerodynamics of a wall and lower gearing than a beetle it can't be good. 10K or under?

Nobody? I'd have guessed at around 7 K's per litre but...............nobody drive their CB's?

Drive it plenty, just don't take notice how much fuel it's using.

I fitted an early type 3 gearbox with higher top ratio, made long drives a bit more pleasant. The fuel cost is irrelevant when it comes to the pleasure of driving a Country Buggy!

I don't think that 99.9% of Country Buggy owners care about fuel economy, drag component, aerodynamics or lack there of aerodynamics of the vehicle. It's not about how much fuel economy you get with the vehicle but rather the enjoyment of owning and driving a rare piece of automotive history.

I have a Honda Civic that gets great fuel economy if anyone would like to trade their Country Buggy for a more fuel efficient car. I won't hold my breath on that one.

Thanks fella's you had me sussed, I really didn't want to know and was just asking so you could tell me that Maybe some of you blokes could get a job in sales somewhere telling people what they really want?

I think it would be measured in, well as the Americans' would say "Smiles per gallon."
