Hi everyone
I was hoping someone could suggest how to polish or make readable the compliance plate without damaging it. What product(s) and application method. It's all there just you can't read it. I was not planning on taking it off either.
Not even 100% sure I know what the metal is?

aluminium i think bud as to a product im not sure. Perhaps something like gumption would work?

I might try gumption. I heard creme tartar works too? Annoying little chore I'll get to soon.

Try a product called Nuvite. Comes in various grades and was originally designed for American Airlines as a polish for their airplanes. One of the products of choice for vintage aluminum caravans like Airstream trailers. Do not know if it's available everywhere but in the United States it's redily available. I have used it on aluminum and stainless steel and it works great.
