Started to restore my CB steering wheel now that i have a decent horn button(thanks to BUGBOY) Thought I would try polishing the spokes and the aluminium hub to see what it would look like.Got a few small nicks in the rim,so will fill and sand and paint the rim in a satin black 2 pac then clear coat the lot

What a great result.
I have two steering wheels that are in sad need of a resto. How much is the freight over to South Australia.?
Glad you managed to get a decent horn button from Nathan.
Do I have your KO #, Chassis # and engine # on the Register.?

What did you use to repair the outer rim on the wheel? Mine has some large cracks in it.

I know the makers of POR15 product make a kit for restoring steering wheels.
I'm not sure how much stuff you get but I'm guessing enough to do a few wheels?

I poked around the Eastwood web site and found some info.
This is a US company, but my guess is there are other auto finishing specialty companies worldwide that are retailing similar products.
