COUNTRY BUGGY SECTION ANNIVERSARY
58camper - June 9th, 2008 at 08:58 AM

Guys,
Its just on 12 months since Bugboy bit the bullet and started the CB section on this forum. (and I am glad he did)
Since then there hase been 620 posts and a countless number of views on the forum thereby reinforcing the interest out there in the VW community for the "Ugly Bugly".
It may not be the largest volume by way of hits but I am sure it has served the participants well and ,might I say, without any shit flying around. ( Its when the shit hits the fan I tend not to be around).
I dont post alot myself by choice but watch closely with interest at all the things going on.
I really need to thank moderator Bugboy for getting the CB section up and running, all you guys for your continued interest and invovlement and specially to Graham (vwnuts) for the excellent work on the CB gallery.
All the interaction has let to more CBs seeing light of day with the CB Register now approaching almost 300 vehicles. That is excellent given the total 1956 units produced over 40 years ago.
Lets keep it going

Bill,
I agree......kudos to Nathan!!!!!
:tu:
This is a great forum with lots of posters/owners/enthusiasts, and it is growing all the time.
I find it very interesting and on top of that, it is a very civil place.
It has opened up the world to gents trying to unravel the mysteries of this 40 year old oddity and connected them in a way that would never have been possible before.
It was pure genius to start the CB forum.
Great job Nathan, and thanks to all who frequent this forum!
As you noted Bill, a special thanks too to vwnuts for his proactive personal involvement in the CB gallery.......outstanding effort!

Regards,
Steve

Thanks for the kind words guys, but I just put up the headings etc and the rest is all you people with an interest in CB's posting way.
I haven't had much time on here for a while due to other projects and my CB's put away in storage.
But I'd like to take this chance to thank Bill for all his efforts with the CB register and all his help given over the last few years with the past resto project.
I look forward to seeing what the next year brings.
