The key to the deck lid in my 1973 beetle 1303 does not go all the way in and I cannot lock it. Is there somewhere i can send the lock and key to get working again OR can I refurbish the lock and get it working again?

It feels like a peace of old key might be broken off in the barrel.

Any decent locksmith could fix it
Had mine re keyed for $25 a lock

More than likely one of the little plate things has dropped and is blocking it
