just wondering if you can fit type 4 carbs and inlet manifolds from a 2 litre to a type 1 twin port? never really had a good look and was hoping some one here would know, any help would be appreciated.

wrong shape intake ports mate, your best bet if you want twin carbs on a type 1 twin port is type 3 carbs and manifolds.
its ether that or performance carbs like webbers or kads
