ok girl and boys can anyone tell me what gearbox would be on a 1600 kombi engined ute would it be the 1600 box or a 2 lit box

1600, all the commercial kombi's I've seen have had the 1600 gearbox, you can tell the vans becuase they didnt have the hatch above the engine.

But anyway, 2L gearboxes didnt come out until 1976

well you know that i have a kombi called slim ,and after cooking a good 1600 he now has decided to srew a very good 1800 thank heavens that the gearbox is ok .
the little stinker managed to pust a valve seat back into the head thus causing the valve stem and spring to hit the rocker arm.
well he ok now just one of the great reasons we drive vw 's i think $1300.00 later where on the road again that could be a good name for a song
