I was wondering if anyone knew about type 3 squareback 1969 rear badges

with a standard 1600 engine that didn't come with car but the plate says its normal 1600

Looks like this on the passenger side. VW-1600-L

We got fully imported for 69, so the holes underneath are for the VARIANT badge that our cars didn't get, so instead they just had a blanking strip.
if it's an auto it has AUTOMATIC on the drivers side as well.

UPDATE: taken all the panels off the only rust is on the driver side behind the front wheel and a hole that has been cut by the tafe.Pretty good in my
eyes.

also mystery solved its a 1600L
