The ultimate accessory for type 3s? Might better suit the 60s models.

wombatventures - April 9th, 2017 at 01:29 PM

I mentioned an idea in another thread about holding a Type 3 get together at some point in the future.
In the US they have the Type 3 Invasion...
It Looks pretty cool.

The photos in here are pretty cool

And for the Youtubers...

If we had enough interest maybe a similar event could be started here.

jedsgpz - April 9th, 2017 at 05:35 PM

Problem is we are all so far apart, and as much as I love driving my Notch, I can't see me doing a long interstate trip in it! Would be great to see and be involved in though. At least this forum lets us see and share our pride and joys!

This is my old Square, unfortunately destroyed by an inattentive P plater in 2014.

Although parts still live on, the engine is currently in my Notch as the original is a bit tired.

Move the location around yearly like they do in the US. Then there's bound to be one near you sometime.
We drove ours from the Sunshine Coast to Peterborough when we bought it, 2200km, no problems.
Any Show we go to is at least 200km. These cars are great on the open road. Even when we take it shopping its 105km each way.
