Subi conversion # 3
binner - September 18th, 2018 at 09:04 PM

So. ..... I ended up keeping the ute and have got some energy to put into it....

This will be a EJ20 install with the usual Aeroflow hardware and some sweet sandrail inspiration for the radiator. Had to fab up some struts to stiffen up the gearbox.
I need to make a false ute floor to accomodate the height of Subi manifold and throttle body...running hard line fuel line from front to back and return to tank....al fun stuff :crazy::lol:

Nice work, rear mounted radiators can be a challenge to get working right, see how you go

overheating, you cant rely on thermo fans, you need forced air flow when at speed

also the Type 3 spare wheel well is the perfect spot for a radiator

My Kombi ute with 3.8L V6 had the radiator in the back of the tray, lost half the space of the tray and the engine ran hot as well.
