Ok, I've got a 3spoke Country Buggy steering wheel, but not the correct shaft for it to fit on. The wheel is a fine spline, but the hole is bigger than all the beetle and Kombi fine spline shafts I have, so what's it from?

It is my understand that the original CB three-spoke steering wheel was sourced from the 1952 - 1954 beetle parts bin. I can only assume that the column has to come from a similar-aged beetle.

Not even sure that the CB parts catalogue would help.

the steering wheels is off a standard beetle. they are different to a split window beetle wheel.
A steering column off any beetle up to about a 59-60 will do the job. if you get stuck I have a spare one I can sell.
