TYRES FOR YOUR COUNTRY BUGGY
58camper - September 16th, 2010 at 04:03 PM

One of our fellow CB enthusiasts has spent considerable time in trying to locate a tyre similar to the old Dunlop Wintertread. Recently he has come across a 6.40 X 15 tyre from Antique Tyres that he purchased and has put on his vehicle. There is a very small rubbing on full lock but the tyre fits under the front bonnet and allows closure. The tyre sits a tad higher on the road- see photo comparison but works very well albeit the limited usage.
The tyre was $160 shipped to WA. I have attached a photo of the tyre to show tread pattern. If you have enquiries talk to Ben at Antique Tyres,Heidleburg Vic

G- You got me.
The guy owns both KO016 and KO209 and from the Pics I think the one with the new rubber is KO209.
Go with that and I will get clarification.

Graham,

The owner promises to get in contact with you and provide some additional photos to add to the gallery.
He said the tyres work a treat wioth just a small rubbing on full left hand down lock.

Bill, I've sent you an email. The two I have a KO16 and KO 691. I don't have KO 209
Graham, I will get two albums together soon when I finish restoring KO691 and send them onto you for the galery. (great job by the way)
