heavy duty wax and grease remover. presol wtc. would get anchor wax off but penatrol would be harder. I have used a product from bunnings in a yellow tin called goo off (i think)that removes everything including graffiti, disolves harded liquid nails/glue etc.

Penetrol is at least 68% white spirit and mineral spirit/turpentine. I would use white spirit to start as the other remaining "secret ingredients" are dissolved in these spirits.

Wax and grease remover or Prepsol, will not hurt the original paint as long as you monitor it and dont leave it to melt the paint (and as long it hasnt been painted after the factoy paint.)

GOO OFF-I used it on the roof of the lowlight to remove the liquid nails that someone used to glue insulation on the inner roof. Nothing else would work, I used it and monitored it as much as possible, but didnt hurt the paint as long as i didnt over do it in areas.

I'm going to leave it on the roof, but want to get it off the panels and keep them in check with a good buff and carnaubra wax

Not for the bug, for the split. Gibbs doesn't remove the ankor wax need more stuff like others have mentioned.
Once off then i want to give the paint a light buff and a good coat of wax (not polish).

Merry Christmas Tarin, I have Prepwash (Wax and grease remover) 1L you can have if you want. I also have a variable speed buffer you can borrow if you need and a couple of different cutting compounds, you just need to pick them up .
Cheers, Michael.
