Fuel Line for a kombi from where
Best IMO is the German cloth covered.....get some from Vintage or I can send some in the post. 5mm not 1/4" (6.4mm) is required.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

shouldn't a motor factors sell such things? Stuff from Supercheap is pretty good and Clark Rubber do some OK looking fuel hose too.

Can you use 7/32 fuel hose? that would be about 5.5mm
