A pair of shoes!

I carry most of the tools I need, but I tend to drive bare foot.

As I said to Chris yesterday, at least he broke down close to a city & in convoy.
When I break down it is always between nowhere & the black stump, with no mobile coverage.

Hitch-hiking is out, ordinary citizens wont pick up someone that looks like me, so I have done a bit of walking to civilisation & a phone over the years.
I once had to walk from Draytons Junction to Muswellbrook in pair of thongs in summer.
Lee will know where that is. 15-20 kms, something like that.

I keep a pair of beat up joggers under my seat.............

Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.

I doubt if I could walk that far in the winter.... but in the HOT summer....!!! Never.... too Hot & too old!!.... and too far
:D:D:D
to keep weight down, I always only carry the spanners needed such as 10mm 13mm 17mm, VW spark plug-wheel bolt-anternator nut tool, flat & phillips screw drivers, large shifting spanner & Pliers.

U dont need any tools just a box of beer n a Esky full of Ice....

Now all U mechanices out there should be doing your regular maintanence thing and you wouldnt need to carry tools like me.

I recon the one between yr legs is very useful...

Hey Lee try buying the proper tool for the brake hoses its a plastic thinginging that has a built in clamps they work great n dont cut into you rubber lines luine the vice grips.
