Thank you for the reports and Videos gents!
I really enjoyed them. Both engines sound pretty sweet!

Here we go, Mountain Straight Hillclimb.
The fastest hillclimb in the country, and the scariest by a long shot, but we love it.
Last run of the day and weekend, wanted to crack a 55second run. ended with a 54.98.
Was so happy and shaking after the run i had to sit down for a few minutes. then go and have a pee.

Has Brian seen these vids?........He must be proud. Hope he is well.

Ha ha, probably Isuzu.

Nothing good has come out of Germany
since they stopped using flat fours.

I think its the same old story build it to the rules, unfortunatly vw doesnt give us access to cheap go fast goodies or multivalve variable cam timing style cylinder heads, and we have to develop our own components to make the difference.Have seen an awsome exampletype 1 vw hybrid with subie ohc heads grafted on to it on this forum, quite a bit of thinking outside the square if u want to be competitve you have to use latest tech thats available, not 50 year old tech, been racing against these hi tech jap rockets for years in sprints u can beat them but shit its hard work, but head down ars up and get into it cheers Rudi
