One way to win a race ,
Glad all is good with the car , Look's like a combo of few things there , gear shift , power coming on , maybe a little pull on steering wheel , front end lifting , Narrow track groove , and shit wall coming up .
Who said drag racing is easy , we only go straight .

Yeah lucky one there!
Pointers as Pete said above.

Easy to happen with a rear engined car once you get off the throttle.

My tube car did that twice before its demise,(separate issue),
and it was cold track and tyres both times.(T&T's)

It looks to me like:

cold tyres,
cold track
narrow "groove".

Nothing complicated.

Doing a decent burnout helps a lot.
That being said, bigger events' traction probably need no more than a light scuff.

At a recent T&T here, my car moved around on the 3 to 4 shift.
3 out of 4 runs.
Doing a good burnout on the last run all was sweet.

If your car is not smoking tyres in the burnout
then you are in the wrong gear, hitting the limiter, or have no power.

I have to urge you Shane, to get the car checked out, and get "back on the horse" asap.

While it is important to have respect for these things,
Good track conditions make it much easier to drive.
The sooner you have your confidence back the better you can concentrate on making the most of the power.

It wasn't a mechanical failure the tranny and axles seem fine as Pete and Dave said it was a combination or a few things. Short wheel base no. 1. Gear change, rear suspension looks to be to stiff, getting more aggressive of the line, narrow grove. Burnout is the other issue I need to address, I have struggled to lay down a big burnout at Sydney. I started to look into front brakes to hold it in the burnout. I think it's time to follow up on that one. Lets not forget drive video show I tried to correct maybe I over corrected. Plenty to think about but never fear I will return as soon as I have had a good hard look over the buggy.

I'm glad to hear you are okay Shane.

I, for one, know how difficult it is to drive a short wheel base drag car. The 12 second passes that Aaron and I drove last year at Sydney were frickin' scary, and you've already dropped into the 10s!

The adrenaline rush kept us coming back for more. There's not a split second where we could relax - they are a car that demands to be driven right to the end.

See you on the track in June.
