6A12 MIVEC engine

Hi,
I have another project car in the members ride section; an old Marauder kit car.
Anyway has anyone ever fitted a 6A12 Mitsubishi MIVEC engine to a TYPE 3 chassis??

its a 2l V6 and they sound really nice with about 150kw

Love to see that done. There's a guy with that motor in a Mirage that wins heaps of khanas. Great sounding engine. Are you going to mount it transverse or hang it off the VW trans? I'd go transverse with the mitsu trans if I were you.

Yeah as the car stands now it actually has a custom chassis is built underneath it with a mid mounded Toyota V6 it's just been dumped in there and not really fitted correctly so I was gonna replace that with the mivec engine. I think using the V-6's gearbox would be a good idea as I'm hearing that type III boxes may not be able to handle the power and also Are only four-speed
So I might mount it transversely and Use the mivec gearbox.
Will do more pics but this is a car i wont really get started on for sometime as already trying to finish 2 other projects lol
