FS NSW Disc brakes, motor, gearbox + more
Hi All, This stuff has to go from the shed.
DISC BRAKES
* Originally purchased vintage vee dub approx 1k
* Aussie made PBR wide 5 disc brakes complete setup
* Doesnt alter alignment/offset
* Near new (only about 1500km) and complete
* For early beetle K/L front end (came off 2 inch narrowed adjustable beam out of dasdubbers oval)
* looking for $600
MOTOR (65 bug)
*Complete running single port was rebuilt with big bore kit so 1379? Unsure of miles. This motor has been converted to 12volt but has 6 volt flywheel
(was in my 62 bug before new motor went in - removed 2 months ago). Has a few oil leaks but no rattles. Good power with no smoke. Needs tune to smooth
out rough idle. Has genie extractors and new muffler.
* $500 bolt in and go.
MOTOR (62 bug 1200)
*CAme with car bought 2 years ago unknown cond.
*One head has been pulled off but I have it in shed (somewhere)
*No tinware,carby,electrics,exhaust etc.
*suitable as boat anchor or rebuild only (shame to throw it away)
*Price is a six-pack (beer) or free (you decide)
GEARBOX (62 beetle)
*In good condition
*doesnt jump gears
*slight crunchy second gear synchro but otherwise goes well
*upgrade for early bugs without synchro
*Price $180
FUEL TANK (62)
*surface rust only
*needs cleanout inside
*$40
BUMPERS (pair) (towel rail style off delux)
*rear slightly bent (just)
*rusty and ratty and FREE
SINGLE PORT MANIFOLD
*one six pack or free
Fan shroud tinware (free)
TYPE 3? low back beetle seat? ripped (free)
WHEELS (SET 1)
*Set of 4
*wide five pattern but 14 Inch!
*Farmer welded wide 5 centres into 14 inch xd falcon rims so they are basically a widened stock rim (run hubcaps). They are surface rusty and have
perished tyres on them.
*slightly wider offset than stock
*$80 set
WHEELS (SET 2)
*Set of 4
*WIDE 5 stock rims
*Cleaned up (valve holes welded to repair rust), then were sand blasted and powder coated a nice white. Some pitting still evident up close (not for a
show car but good for anything else).
*looking for $160 (no tyres)
EARLY BEETLE GUARDS.
*Front right wing. One small dent but otherwise mint. (no rust at all) $50
*Rear right wing. Scratched but near perfect. (also rust free) $50
I cant load up pictures due to a crap computer with a stupid operator and bad internet reception but I will text photos to anyone who is interested
in this stuff. Text works best and i'll get back to people in the evening
Located at Pottsville (20 min south of qld border, 20 min north of byron bay)
Cheers,
Brendon

I am interested in the wide five disc brake set up please.
This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.
