Adjusting ride height on 944 spring plates
Hi
On my other cars using 944 spring plates and 23.5 mm torsion bars I had no trouble adjusting the height, I locked 2 nuts onto the spring plate height
adjuster and I was able to turn the adjuster to reset the suspension height.
This method wasn't working well on my new 1303 which has 26 mm short torsion bars.
So I searched eBay for a thin 36 mm spanner so that I could do the adjusting the way Porsche intended, using the 36 mm nut.
I found this spanner that is used Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 36 mm viscous fans. I just used it then and it works great, I did have to remove the bolt
that the sway link goes on to give me enough room.
