Chrome Cleaner
I have a few chrome volkswagen badges. They are both cloudy and nothing that ive tried to clean it has made any difference. What products do you clean
them with?

Try Autosol.  On most original VW chrome you can use 0000 steel wool
without damaging the chrome. Get's rid of the grunge before you hit it with Autosol.

Someone driving along in their dirty old dub and ran over a council worker who was out weeding the pavements.
Come onto the next day and noticed they had a nice shiny front bumper.

Might wanna wear gloves for that one, glyphospate exposure is bad for your health 
I probably have enough of it in my system to wipe out a footy field after all these years of herbiciding.
I've always found the best way to remove surface rust from chrome is the old al foil and WD40 trick then buff it with Autosol.
Steel wool is a bit too abrasive, fine on good old german chrome but this modern repro shit that does rust scratches alot easier.
THats where the al foil comes in.
Use buffing compound instead of WD40 for really bad stuff.

Actually it's cos the chrome process is done cheaply. If it's triple plated as it should be and each process is done for the correct time on a good
quality steel substrate then it'll last as long as the original German chrome.
You really have to do your homework in Oz to make sure what you buy is good quality cos even in the USA and UK a quality blade bumper will set you
back over $400 each. $200 here will get you a cheap Mexican bumper.

Haven't been able to find any good quality ones. Plus chrome is to much work.

Try rubbing with alfoil.wet with water.
Cheap.and works super good.
